Destinie Lynn in the Speakeasy

Saturday, March 7, 2026 - 7:00 PM MST

Destinie Lynn is a born-and-raised Los Angeles songwriter who writes soulful, often haunting songs that dive fearlessly into love, loss, and mortality; songs that highlight the daily struggles of the soul. Her sound is largely influenced by roots, old time, Blues, and Americana music, often compared to artists like Rhiannon Giddens and Norah Jones. Destinie has played Stagecoach Festival’s Horseshoe stage, Black Americana Fest in New Orleans, opened for Christina Vane at The Grand Annex in San Pedro, CA, and toured with Black Opry, including dates in Colorado at Swallow Hill Music, The Sherbino and The Armory. Her debut full-length album “Black Bird” comes out Friday, February 27th, 2026—listen now at destinielynn.com

Dave Devine Recording Release Show with Cowhause

Sunday, March 8, 2026 - 6:00 PM MST

$20 tickets – Dinner Menu & Bar Available - Doors at 6p

This recording captures guided improvisations performed live in one take by Dave Devine. Using a rubber bridge baritone guitar, modular synthesizer, and looping cassette tapes, the piece unfolds as a raw document of sound in motion—unplanned, unedited, and fully present.

The rubber bridge guitar produces a dampened, percussive resonance that sits somewhere between rhythm and tone, while the modular system introduces shifting textures and unstable harmonics. Cassette loops add repetition, decay, and drift, allowing time and degradation to become part of the composition rather than something to be corrected.

What you hear is the moment as it happened—decisions made in real time, structures emerging and dissolving, imperfections left intact. The music invites close listening, rewarding attention to texture, space, and subtle change, and stands as a quiet but deliberate exploration of improvisation, restraint, and sonic materiality.

Cowhause:

Janet Feder plays mostly baritone guitars and analogue, hand-made sounds; Colin Bricker (aka Brokerclinic) is an electronic musician and record producer known for
his cutting-edge computer music, characterized by beautiful, twisted, broken soundscapes and skittering rhythms. Their new album Break It Like This was released
in Spring, 2024.
